I read today that a judge in PA has blocked the sale of Hershey Foods Corporation because it could lead to massive layoffs.

It’s about time! It’s about damn time that somebody made these evil corporations stop selling out to a bunch of profiteers who just want to make money by firing people!

And another thing that’s always annoyed me. Nobody should have the right to sell their car, either. If you sell a car to someone, then they can buy your used car instead of a new car somewhere. That deprives both autoworkers and salesmen of their jobs. Selling your used car puts people out of work every bit as much as selling Hershey’s for $15 billion.

And don’t think you can donate your car to charity, either--all they do is fix it up (or not) and sell it, so it still allows someone to avoid buying a new car.

No, the only decent thing to do is to always buy a new car and sell your old car for $500 to one of those scrap companies, to get the pollution off the road.
